We are excited to meet you soon! You have applied for an Initial I-20. An initial I-20 can be used to apply for a new F1 student visa at a US Consulate outside of the United States.
Here are the items we need to complete your application, issue you an I-20 (document required for F-1 visa holders), and email it to you.
US Embassies/Consulates now accept PDFs of electronically signed I-20s.

• Bank statements must be recent (no more than 6 months old) and show a balance of at least $2,000 for each month of study listed on your ELI I-20.
• For example, for 4 months of study, your bank statements must show a balance of at least $8,000.
• Bank statements do not need to be in English and a foreign currency is fine.
• You can use a sponsor's bank statement. If you use a sponsor's bank statement, we need a signed sponsor letter.

You do NOT need to show your account number or transaction history.
Your account does NOT have to be in USD. It can be in any currency.
